It’s only a couple days to the Fall

October 5th, 6th and 7th!

ANNOUNCEMENT: As of Wed, Oct 3rd, we have VERY few outdoor vendor spaces remaining on the fairgrounds (unless we are forced to open the south lot by the Silos). So if you are planning to attend, call our business office during regular office hours, (9 am to 5pm, Monday through Friday). 1-937-728-6643.

ALERTS for October, 2018:

  1. TRAFFIC ALERT! If you are coming from the SOUTH, note that sidewalks and curbs are being replaced in the city of Lucasville, right along St Rt 23. Consequently, St Rt 23 is reduced to just one lane in each direction. We suggest that you try to find an alternate route, such as taking St Rt 139 north from St Rt 52 in New Boston on the EAST side of Portsmouth, then keeping left on Glendale Rd near Clarktown, and then a left turn on Lucasville-Minford Rd to Fairground Rd at Lucasville.
OR, from the WEST side of Portsmouth, take Route 73, keep right and go north on Route 104, finally turning right on St Rt 348 and follow that to St Rt 23 or Fairground Rd, as you prefer. (See attached map above!)

  2. If you plan to stay for the evening, bring your bug spray. Excessive rainfall in Scioto County this year has resulted in mosquitoes!

IT IS OUR GOAL TO GET EVERYONE PARKED ON THE GROUNDS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. But remember, free parking is limited by capacity on the fairgrounds.

As always, set-up day is Friday. We begin admitting vendors at 12 noon. (VENDOR STICKERS MUST BE FIRMLY AFFIXED to the OUTSIDE lower left corner of your front windshield). Lucasville Trade Days officially opens to the public on Saturday morning at 7 am. “Early Bird Shoppers” are allowed in from 3 pm to 7 pm on Friday, at $4 per person, children under 12 are free.

Lock your trailers and equipment, and carry adequate insurance! Make sure you lock up your equipment, or stay right there to keep an eye on it. Remember that you must carry your own insurance. The Scioto County Fairgrounds and Famous Auto Promotions, Inc, are not responsible for loss due to accident, injury, theft, or damages. Secure locks, vigilance, and insurance are your only protection from thieves.
